3 Dead, 1 Critical After Mass Weekend Overdose In New Rochelle
A caller told police he was overdosing and that he was with three others who were also overdosing and unconscious.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A tragedy in Westchester County has left three people dead and a fourth in critical condition.

On Saturday, shortly before 2:45 p.m., New Rochelle police got a call from a man reporting that he was possibly overdosing and that he was with three others who were also overdosing and unresponsive.

The caller was disoriented and did not know where he was, but New Rochelle Police Department dispatchers were able to ping his cell phone and tracked his location to 50 Fountain Place downtown. Officers located the caller and the three other unresponsive men in a storage room in the rear of the building.
New Rochelle Fire and EMS personnel rushed the caller to a local hospital. The three other males at the scene were pronounced dead by EMS Personnel.

The names of the caller and the deceased are being withheld at this time, so their families can be properly notified, police said in a statement.
