The 's member-only tour of Plum Island will take place on Aug. 6 this year. It is free to members. The tour is limited to 38 people. The group will leave from Orient Point and a Department of Homeland Security and a Museum representative will conduct the tour. Participants will be driven on a bus around the island, where they will see the lighthouse and the remains of Fort Terry. Reservations will only be taken up to June 24, 2012.
