Police Log: Woman Arrested for Pushing Children on Sidewalk
Excerpts from the Northport Police Department log.

Monday, April 6
At 8:44 p.m., police reported a domestic disturbance on Horseshoe Drive in which there was a verbal dispute between family members.
A 11:03 p.m., police received a report of a disturbance in which a woman was abusing a dog on Main Street. Officers could not locate the woman or the dog.

Wednesday, April 8
At 7:15 p.m., police assisted a man who was suffering from heart palpitations on Maple Avenue. Northport Rescue took him to the Northport VAMC.

At 4:43 p.m., police arrested a 63-year-old Northport woman for harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Police received a report that the woman was pushing children on the sidewalk on Main Street. Officers arrived on the scene and found the woman in Gunther’s Tap Room.
