Editor's Pick: 'Come Home for the Holidays' Tour
The Chelsea Mansion event on the Muttontown Preserve takes place during two weekends in December.

The “Come Home for the Holidays” tour at Chelsea Mansion takes place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Dec. 5, 6, 7 and 12, 13, and 14.
There will be two tours per day at 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.-3 p.m.
Chelsea Mansion will be decked in the finest holiday decorations, followed by traditional holiday music and light refreshments.

The mansion is located on the 550-acre Muttontown Preserve. The 40–room estate is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. The home was built by Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Moore in 1924 and represents the design ideas of the latter part of Long Island’s Gold Coast era. The mansion features a blend of French, English and Chinese influences.

Admission to the holiday tour is $15 per guest, $10 for seniors and children under 12 years old.
Guided tours are limited to 25 guests per tour.
