Long Island has become very expensive to live in. House prices are extremely high, condos aren’t affordable, and even apartments have high rent. Many are moving off the island to survive. It’s not fair. We should all be able to live comfortable. We need affordable housing for everyone. Not just senior citizens. Many work multiple jobs just to survive. Our minimum wage is low. Our taxes are high. Long Island is a beautiful place to live. But it’s deminshing do to non affordable homes, condos and apartments. Something must be done immediately.
