Reward Offered: Police Seek Man Who Removed Caps From Oil Containers
Incident occurred at the Centereach Walmart in October.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man pictured above who they say removed the caps off of multiple containers of oil, rendering the product unsellable, at a Centereach store in October.
Police say the man removed caps from 13 bottles of motor oil at Walmart, located at 161 Centereach Mall, on Oct. 26 at about 5:50 p.m.
The containers of oil, which have a combined value of more than $200, were unable to be sold once the caps were removed, police say.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
