Snowplow Stolen From Suffolk Bus Charter Business

Police don't know if it was an individual or group who stole the snowplow.

MIDDLE ISLAND, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the person or people who stole a snowplow from a Middle Island business.

An individual or group stole an 8-foot Western PRO PLUS snowplow from the yard of First Student Charter Bus Rental, at 40 Miller Place-Yaphank Road, around midnight Jan. 19, police said. The person or people fled in a light-color pickup truck. The thief/thieves are wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, texting "SCPD" and your message to "CRIMES" (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
