String Quartet Shines at Chamber Music Festival

Port Jefferson Middle School string students - Hyun Jin Lee, Francine Leung, Ava Schully and Mayu Takeuchi – showcased their skills as they performed in the Long Island String Chamber Music Festival on Jan. 11.

During the event, the eighth-graders performed Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s famous “Eline Kleine Nachtmusik,” as well as had the opportunity to attend coaching sessions by members of the Bryant Park String Quartet.
