Port Washington American Legion Names Reverend Citizen of The Year
The reverend served as Post 509's honorary chaplain for Memorial and Veterans Day ceremonies.

Port Washington’s American Legion Post 509 named Reverend Stuart Huntley of St Stephen’s Episcopal Church the 2014 Citizen of The Year.
Rev. Huntley received the award on Saturday, Nov. 22. He has served as honorary chaplain of Post 509 for both Memorial and Veterans Day ceremonies. In addition, Rev. Huntley was a driving force in the recent effort to obtain a cemetery plaque for the unmarked grave of a World War II veteran in Port Washington. He recently returned to England after serving several years as Rector of St. Stephen’s Church.
