Voter's Guide: Port Washington School Budget, Board Election

What you need to know for election day. And a quick poll.

Port Washington residents will vote on the school district’s $144,919,392 proposed budget for the 2015-16 school year on Tuesday, May 19.

The proposal calls for a 0.59 percent increase in spending over the current year and carries a 2.38 percent tax levy increase, which is within the state’s tax cap.

All voting is at Carrie Palmer Weber Middle School, 52 Campus Drive. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
