Police: Man Fires Gun in Riverhead Hotel Room on Christmas Morning
The incident occurred at the Hyatt Place Hotel, police said.

Riverhead Town Police arrested a Holbrook man who discharged a gun at the Hyatt Place Hotel in Riverhead on Christmas morning, police said.
Police responded to the hotel, on 451 East Main Street on Thursday 10:45 a.m. and discovered that Neal Shudak, 58, had fired a loaded firearm, damaging the hotel room he was staying in, according to police.
He was charged with fourth degree criminal mischief and prohibited use of a firearm, police said.
