Police: Riverhead Man Arrested For Driving While Impaired by Drugs, Drug Possession
The arrest was made last Friday.

A 35-year-old Riverhead man was arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs and drug possession in Northampton on Friday, according to State Police.
The man was stopped for failing to maintain a lane and traveling too slowly on northbound County Route 51, south of Speonk Riverhead Road, police said.
Investigation revealed the man was driving under the influence of drugs and was arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs and fifth degree criminal possession of marijuana, according to police.

He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Southampton Town Court on Jan. 12, 2015.
