Police: Three Men Rob Riverhead Distributor

Three men robbed a wholesale distributor at gunpoint on Tuesday night, according to Riverhead Town Police.

Police responded a report of a robbery at MCN Distributors on 121 Main Road in Riverhead at 8:26 p.m.

The manager of MCN Distributors reported that three men entered the business pointed a handgun at him and removed cash and AC/heating equipment from the warehouse, police said.

The robbers used a company box truck to remove the proceeds, police said.

The box truck was later recovered on Reeves Avenue in the area of Doctors Path, police said.
