Water Main Break Ties Up Traffic On Saw Mill River Parkway

The ramp closure could last up to 24 hours.

DOBBS FERRY, NY — A water main break has forced the closing of Saw Mill River Parkway ramp in both directions Wednesday morning in the Village of Dobbs Ferry. The state Department of Transportation said the westbound ramp at Lawrence Street was closed at 7:30 a.m. and will last for about 24 hours.

Delays can be expected. The DOT said to use the eastbound ramp at Lawrence Street to U.S. Highway 9A as an alternate detour. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)
