Search On For Man Who Stole Wallet Off Supermarket Counter: Cops

Police are looking for the man they say swiped a wallet from a supermarket counter. Have you seen him?

SHIRLEY, NY — The search is on for a man who stole a wallet from a supermarket in June, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole a wallet left on a counter by a customer at King Kullen, located at 273 William Floyd Parkway in Shirley, on June 9 at 3:10 p.m., police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the incident can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and a message to “CRIMES” (274637) or by emailing www.tipsubmit.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential.
