Thanks to the club, Rina, the 9-year-old girl from Kosovo, received her surgery at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn during the week of May 20.

Rina, her mother and Kosovo’s UN representative were introduced by the Syosset community at the 50-yard line to kick off the seven days of surgeries that were slated to take place all over the world during the week of May 18.

Hundreds of students wore blue Superman t-shirts to go along with the club’s theme: “Superman Saves Lives, So Do We.” They gathered around a superman symbol that was painted in the midfield to symbolize their campaign efforts.
