Stony Brook Makes List Of Best Suburbs: Niche
It was part of a list of local communities that made Niche.com's 2020 ranking of the best NYC suburbs.
STONY BROOK, NY — Stony Brook was named one of the best suburbs to live in near the New York City area. Niche.com recently released its rankings of the best suburbs to live for 2020, and Stony Brook came in ranked #59 of 100.
The website chose the best suburbs based on crime, public schools, cost of living, job opportunities, and local amenities. Niche reviewed the data from the U.S. Census, FBI, BLS, CDC and more to determine which communities deserved the top rankings.
