• NYPD Officer Who Tackled Gracie Mansion Bomb Suspect Honored by PBA (internewscast.com) — An NYPD officer was honored for rescuing two people from a fiery rollover crash at a major Wantagh intersection back in February, acting while off duty and undergoing cancer treatment. He used a window-breaking tool, cleared glass by hand, and helped pull victims to safety before firefighters completed the extrication, with both crash victims ultimately surviving.
