Westhampton Beach Students Place at Virtual Business Competition
The team placed among the top three teams on Long Island.

The Westhampton Beach High School Virtual Enterprise Class placed among the top three teams on Long Island at the Virtual Business Competition earlier last month.
The team will now advance to the National Competition, which will take place on April 14 at Microsoft in Times Square.
The students won after competing against 42 Long Island teams with their virtual business, “Helios”.

They planned for eco-friendly technology devices, powered by natural energy.
Their devices included solar sockets, a solar-powered charging backpack, and a solar-heated sleeping bag, called a SunSak.
