• Avon Beach Nourishment Update - June 1, 2026 (dredgewire.com) — Beach nourishment work has restarted in Avon, with the dredge Liberty Island now pumping sand in the middle of the project area and moving north toward the Avon Fishing Pier before turning south from Yucca Street. Expect the ORV Ramp 38 parking lot just south of Avon to stay closed through July 15, with occasional short delays as crews move heavy equipment in and out.
