His work in farmland preservation and innovative marketing has strengthened small farms across the region and conserved thousands of acres for future generations. 
• In loving memory of Edna Dills: 1939-2026 (chronline.com) — Born in Franklin in 1939, Edna Rae Dills is remembered by her large family for her kindness, strong Catholic faith, and lifelong love of animals and gardening. Though she later settled in Washington state, her story begins here and reflects values many Franklin families share.
