Greater Greenville Chamber selects new cohort for community leadership program (witn.com) — Greenville's chamber has picked 29 young professionals for its 2026-27 Leadership Institute, focused on grooming future community leaders for Pitt County. Participants will spend eight months learning, collaborating, and completing group projects, culminating in a graduation ceremony at Pitt-Greenville Airport that highlights their work and new connections. 
2. Joshua Rosenburg admits guilt in Pitt County murder, attempted murder tied to shootings (wcti12.com) — A Pitt County man has been sentenced to more than 32 years in prison after pleading guilty in a Greenville-linked murder and an earlier attempted murder in Winterville. Investigators say ballistics and DNA tied the same handgun to both shootings, and a joint effort by Greenville, Winterville and ECU Health police led to his arrest and conviction.
3. Washington man charged after alleged sexual battery, assault on ECU Health officer (wcti12.com) — A man from Washington is being held without bond after ECU Health Police in Greenville say he sexually assaulted a woman and then injured an officer serving an arrest warrant. Court records describe a bite wound requiring stitches and a broken hand, and the suspect now faces multiple assault-related charges.
4. MrBeast Joins Lil Baby on 'Dead Fresh' Remix (power98fm.com) — MrBeast's first real rap feature brings Lil Baby and a full video shoot right into Greenville, with scenes at the Landmark Pick-Up convenience store and near ECU.
