Mother Forgives Accused Haverford Killer: Report
Derrick Rollins, 24, of Philadelphia, is accused of killing 29-year-old John Le of Narberth in a random attack.

HAVERFORD, PA – Despite her son being killed in Haverford Township, Huong Le said she forgives his accused killer as he appeared in court for the first time after the July 29 murder.
While Derrick Rollins, 24, of Philadelphia appearing for his preliminary arraignment in a Delaware County court Wednesday, Le's mother spoke out, saying she forgives her son's accused killer.
“I pray for him,” Huong Le told NBC10, referring to Rollins. “And I forgive him. I’m not angry at anybody. I just miss my son. That’s all.”

Rollins faces charges of criminal homicide; first, second, and third degree murder; aggravated assault; prohibited possession of a firearm; robbery; and more in connection with Le's July 29 death in Haverford.

Rollins was taken into custody Aug. 22 in Decatur, Georgia then extradited back to the Philadelphia area to face the charges.
Rollins was held after a judge did not grant bail, court records show.
He is slated to appear for a preliminary hearing on Sept. 14.
