There are at least four new restaurants or food-based businesses opening in the area in the coming months.

HARVEST SEASONAL GRILL

A new farm-to-table restaurant is opening in Newtown in early 2018. Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar, which had been aiming for a December 2017 opening, will offer an array of local and non-GMO items sourced from more than 75 local farms. Items include flatbreads, salads, soups, sandwiches, seafood, steaks, vegetarian entrees and more. READ MORE HERE.

ROCCO'S AT THE BRICK

The highly-anticipated opening of a new steakhouse at the Brick Hotel is expected in early 2018. Co-owner Alex Mastoris is publicly setting the record straight about the future of the restaurant once highlighted in 2016 on FOX's "Hotel Hell." "Make no mistake," Mastoris said in a statement, "Rocco's at The Brick LLC controls ALL of the food and beverage in the building. There are NO OTHER partners in this LLC, past or present, and no others will be on-site or involved in any aspect of the business," he said via Facebook. READ MORE HERE.

DELORENZO'S TOMATO PIES

One of the region's most renowned pizzerias is preparing for its local debut. DeLorenzo's Tomato Pies, a Trenton institution, will open its first Pennsylvania restaurant in Lower Makefield in early 2018. Representatives tell Patch they're aiming for February. It will be located at 1707 Langhorne Yardley Road. READ MORE HERE.

BON APPETIT

Bon Appétit, a European-style gourmet food market and cafe, is opening a Newtown location in 2018 and is aiming for an April debut. Bon Appétit will join the new Fine Wine and Spirits Store on the ground floor of Steeple View on South State Street. READ MORE HERE.
