Herb In The Burb: Bucks County To Get Medical Marijuana Dispensary Permit, Reports Say
Applications for growers and processors are to submitted between Feb. 20 and March 20 to the state's Health Department

The Pennsylvania Department of Health is getting ready to dish out permits for medical marijuana dispensaries in the Philadelphia area, and Bucks County has one permit set aside reports say.
Bucks will be one of several counties in the southeastern part of the state to get dispensary permits, Philly.com reports.
Other counties getting permits include Montgomery, Delaware, and Chester, the Philly Voice reports.

The Department of Health announced the next phase of the medical marijuana policy Wednesday in Harrisburg, saying the southeastern region will be allowed to have up to 30 dispensaries.
Growers, processors, and distributors can begin submitting applications to the state between Feb. 20 and March 20. Applications can be accessed on the department's website beginning Jan. 17, according to the Philly Voice.

Gov. Tom Wolf signed the medical marijuana bill in spring 2015. The bill allows 150 dispensaries and 25 growers statewide, Philly.com reports.
