Liquor License Transfer For New Brewery Approved In Newtown
Iron Hill will join several new additions to the shopping center, which is currently undergoing a renovation.
NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Newtown Township Board of Supervisors on Wednesday approved a liquor license transfer for Iron Hill Brewery.
The brewery is planning a location at the Village at Newtown Shopping Center, in a building that's currently under construction.
The liquor license is coming from from Middletown Township, according to Newtown Township Manager Micah Lewis.

Iron Hill operates brewpubs that serve craft beers and food at more than a dozen locations across the region. Nearby brewpubs are situated in North Wales, Phoenixville, Ardmore, Huntington Valley, Philadelphia and more. View the full list of locations.
In addition to their own craft beers, the menu features pub fare, such as burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, and a selection of "brewhouse entrees."

Iron Hill will join several new additions to the shopping center, which is currently undergoing a renovation. The Newtown Township Board of Supervisors has approved an application for Chipotle to open up there. Other recent additions include a drive-through Starbucks, Nina's Waffles, Naked Chocolate, and Melt Shop, a grilled cheese eatery.
Another craft brewery will be opening locally this summer. Newtown Brewing Company expects to open this summer in the Newtown Business Commons.
