NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Thirteen township streets are targeted for paving and repairs this spring and summer under a contract awarded on Wednesday by the Newtown Township Board of Supervisors.

Under the township's 2026 road improvement program, Harris Blacktop - the low bidder on the project - will be paid $827,086 for paving and maintenance work on 13 streets in the township, including Sycamore Street, Wrights Road, and Linton Hill Road.

“Soon we will have the contracts executed, a pre-construction meeting, and eventually you will see construction in the next month or so,” reported township engineer Leanna Colubriale.
