Instead, the Senate has sent to Gov. Tom Wolf’s desk the main appropriations bill in the House’s $30.3 billion spending plan, the Associated Press reported.
However, as of Monday afternoon, Wolf had not announced if he would sign the bill, which includes less funding for schools and social services than Wolf wanted, according to the Associated Press.

An announcement has been scheduled for Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.
The Senate and the House will not return to Harrisburg until after the New Year.
Meanwhile, the months-long stalemate has already had impacts throughout the state.
The Philadelphia School District warned it would have to shut down in January if a deal is not reached. Bucks County Community College said it will begin borrowing money to stay open. Bucks County government is withholding state payments until a budget is passed.
