• ALIEN ANT FARM Return With Blistering New Single 'Gaslighter' (iconvsicon.com) — Alien Ant Farm are bringing their new single "Gaslighter" and a full live set to The Gin Mill and Grille in Northampton this Friday, Oct. 9. The band is touring the U.S. and Europe, and local fans can catch them just days after the track's release, ahead of its feature in an upcoming music video game.
   

• Week of Oct. 8 (homenewspa.com) — Northampton is mourning longtime resident and educator Lorie A. Dotter, 91, who taught special education in the Northampton Area School District for decades and was deeply involved in Grace U.C.C. and local fraternal organizations. Friends and neighbors can pay their respects Thursday, Oct. 8, at Grace U.C.C. on Lincoln Avenue, with visitation in the late morning followed by a noon funeral service and interment in Stockertown.
