Local rivals across the PAC also battled in girls tennis, soccer, and football, setting up key matchups for Phoenixville against Pottstown next week.
   

• Inspectors Find Food Safety Problems at Two Local Establishments (mychesco.com) — Chester County health inspectors recently cited two restaurants in Spring City and West Chester for food-temperature and sanitation issues, but a Phoenixville spot, The Local on Bridge Street, passed inspection with no violations. Residents can review how inspectors check food handling, refrigeration, and cleanliness, and are encouraged to report any concerns or suspected foodborne illness directly to the county health department.
