Here are the latest local updates on how the coronavirus outbreak is impacting Pittsburgh.
PITTSBURGH, PA - The coronavirus outbreak in Pennsylvania and across the nation is having vast impacts in Pittsburgh including the closure of schools and many businesses.
As of Friday, there were 158 positive cases of coronavirus in Allegheny County. Two people have died from the illness. The state reported an additional 531 positive cases of the coronavirus on Friday, bringing Pennsylvania's total to 2,218 cases in 50 counties. As of Friday, 22 coronavirus-related deaths occurred in the state.
