Mindful Stress Relief Program Now Online
The popular MBSR program starts Oct. 1 - NOW ENROLLING

Way Opens Wellness in Yardley is pleased to announce that it will host the popular stress relief program, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), online via Zoom on Thursday evenings beginning October 1 and running through November 19, with a one-day retreat on Saturday, November 7.
This classic 8-week training in meditation and mindful movement was created over 40 years ago by well-known author and researcher Jon Kabat-Zinn. MBSR participants learn to understand, through direct experience, how to mindfully cope with pain, illness, loss, and the everyday challenge of being alive. Specifically, mindfulness helps you develop the ability to be non-judgmental, compassionate, patient, present, and aware.

- This course has forever changed my perspective as to what makes me happy. I find myself better equipped to deal with my stressful work life and far more patient in trying circumstances.
- It was pure growth for me. I learned to be still with my breath, to make time for myself; a worthy investment.
- This work allowed me to be okay with stopping, taking a break, taking a breath and waiting. It helped me get unstuck in my life, and every day I am able to love myself more.
- The biggest surprise has been the impact on my everyday life. My relationships are stronger and calmer.
- The fruits of the practice have been pervasive: awareness, intention, gratitude, humility. Thank you!
The Fall MBSR Foundations 8-week class takes place online for 8 Thursdays, 7:00 – 9:00 pm, October 1 - November 19, 2020, including a full day retreat, Saturday, November 7. A sliding fee scale keeps the program affordable for most. Some financial assistance is available
