YARDLEY, PA —Josh Friedman is usually up before sunrise.

"If I am particularly lucky, the sky puts on a colorful show, with a combination of pinks and yellows and oranges," he told Patch this week.
On this December 2021 morning, early risers were treated to a beautiful sky over the Delaware River.

So Friedman headed out and captured this snapshot of the West Trenton Railroad Bridge reflected in the river, a few minutes before sunrise (about 7:10 am).
For photography enthusiasts, he used an HDR (high dynamic range) photograph from three exposures that he merged.
