YMCA's Camp Fuller Beach Safe To Reopen: Department of Health

Bacteria in the water are back to safe levels.

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — The beach at the YMCA's Camp Fuller is once again safe for swimming, the Rhode Island Department of Health said. It was closed Friday for high bacteria levels.

The South Kingstown camp was part of a spate of closures announced at the end of last week, following more than a day of heavy rainfall. Of the seven beaches included in the initial closure, five remain closed. Scarborough Beach South in Narragansett was reopened Monday.
