• Two arrested in connection to vehicle break in, 'jugging' theft in Oconee County (wspa.com) — Law enforcement based in Walhalla have charged two men in a June theft where about $22,000 was stolen from a vehicle after the victim was followed from a bank, a tactic known as "jugging." Deputies say the suspects, with ties to South Carolina and Texas, face grand larceny, vehicle break-in, and conspiracy charges tied to the Chicksaw Point incident.
