• Deputies investigating a shooting in Coffee County, suspect still on the run (walb.com) — Law enforcement in Douglas and Coffee County are investigating a shooting along the Broxton–West Green Highway, with the suspect still at large and EMS treating a seriously injured victim. Reports say this is the second shooting in Douglas–Coffee County this week, following an earlier non-fatal incident inside the city. Authorities plan to release more details as the case develops. 
• GBI Investigates Death in Coffee County (einpresswire.com) — Several Douglas residents have been arrested after a man from Douglas was fatally shot during a dispute involving a dog at a home on Broxton West Green Highway in Coffee County. The GBI’s Douglas regional office is leading the ongoing investigation and is asking anyone with information to contact agents or submit anonymous tips.
