Sierra Nevada Beer Recall Affects Select Bottles With 'Packaging Flaw'
Sierra Nevada recall affects 36 states in Midwest, South and East Coast.

Sierra Nevada has announced a voluntary recall of select 12-ounce beer bottles that may contain a "small" glass packaging flaw that could cause a loss in carbonation and result in a piece of glass to break off and possibly fall into the bottle, the company announced in a press release Sunday. The recall affects 36 states in the Midwest, South and East Coast.
Sierra Nevada said the flaw was detected after quality inspections at their brewery in North Carolina. The company said it has not received any consumer reports of injuries and is working with suppliers to determine the root cause of the issue.
