Tiger Woods Watches 11-Year-Old Hit A Hole-In-One
"Are you kidding me right now?" Woods said after watching 11-year-old Taylor Crozie sink a hole in one.
At the Wednesday opening of Tiger Woods' new golf course, The Playgrounds at Bluejack National, South Texas PGA junior Taylor Crozier hit an 81-yard, par 3 hole-in-one, CBS news reports.
Crozier was the first up to the tee from the group of juniors invited to play in the course's inaugural round with Woods. The 11-year-old was described by the announcer as "a man with a perfect school attendance record until today."
The crowd cheered as the ball found its way into the hole. Crozier casually put the club back into his bag before getting a hug from Woods, who said, "Are you kidding me right now?" This got a big laugh from those in attendance.
Tiger Woods has been heavily involved in the creation of The Playgrounds, helping to design the course. Golf Inc. magazine recently named Bluejack National one of the top five developments of the year.
In addition to it's golf courses, Bluejack National also features real estate developments "capturing the spirit of the great lodges and fishing camps of the 19th Century," according to their website.
The Playground, as created by Tiger Woods Design is a 10-hole par 3 course, ranging in length from 57 to 102 yards.
Woods has been working to get into better health. In a blog post Wednesday on TigerWoods.com, he wrote:
As I announced last week, I am starting to feel a lot better. I have been chipping and putting at home, and recently started hitting 9 irons. That's been so nice. After all, Florida is the Sunshine State.
