Agree to Disagree
Relationships work better when people agree to disagree. It is actually not that difficult to do this.

Hal Green, Ph.D., is a former professor, pastor, counselor and columnist. He has deep faith in God and humanity, and is a long-term optimist. He believes that all will be well in the end, and that we will learn and grow from adversity. Hal seeks to inspire, assist, and guide us in our daily life.

When you try to please everybody, the one person you will not please is yourself. There is a good and bad way to be “other-directed.”
If ever there was a time, now is the time. Cherish life and each other. Cherish children and pets. Cherish birds and soft breezes.

One thing we need to be reminded of frequently, is the need to forgive. It is all too easy to forget to do so, but to hold on to grudges.
Aging can involve a return to youth, at least in spirit. The child grows into adulthood, while the adult matures into a second childhood.
With life and love, what you give is what you will get back. What you plant, you will eventually harvest.
A little bit of humility goes a long way. The word “humble” comes from the Latin “humilis,” akin to "humus," meaning soil or earth.
The world would be a better place if we had more empathy for others. Compassion springs from understanding, and identifying with another.
The key to opening the human heart is acceptance. The opposite happens when you imagine how it affects you not to feel accepted by another.
Performance anxiety is a universal experience. Many do not pursue or do not fully develop potential careers due to debilitating anxiety.
Critical people are criticized people. People are not born negative toward others; they learn it through being criticized.
Faith gives us permission to love. As it takes the sun to open the petals of the flower, so it takes faith to open the human heart.
True wealth consists, not in what money can buy, but in what relationships can bring.
