2 Vienna Elementary Schools Ranked Among State's Best In New List

VIENNA, VA – Two Vienna elementary schools were ranked among Virginia's best, according to a new ranking of the nation’s best public elementary schools by U.S. News and World Report.

The 2027 rankings were made using publicly available data from state education agencies by RTI International, alongside data from the U.S. Department of Education.

For the purposes of the ranking, elementary schools were defined as those offering either pre-K-5 or pre-K-6 education. For schools that have a wider grade span, only tests through fifth grade were considered.

Vienna's Colvin Run Elementary School was ranked seventh in the state, with Wolftrap Elementary School coming in at number 22.

Nine Fairfax County public schools made the list of the state's 25 best.
