Chesterbrook Academy® Preschools in Northern Virginia Donate 400 Toys

Students at six schools collected toys to benefit children in need this holiday season

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschools in Northern Virginia – including Ashburn, Clifton, Centreville, Fairfax, and Sterling – recently donated more than 400 toys to benefit Toys for Tots, a gift drive run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Over the past few weeks, students across the six schools held toy drives to fulfill the wish lists of local children in need. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of giving back to the community, especially during the holiday season.

Toys for Tots, a 70-year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness and hope to less fortunate children during each holiday season. The toys, books and other gifts collected and distributed by Marines and volunteers offer these children recognition, confidence and a positive memory for a lifetime.
