“It’s our personal relationship with Sheriff Sloan and his initiative to spearhead this giving. When he came to me, I was all in to help and provide turkeys for families in need,” said District Manager Duke Davis.

“We are very honored to partner with the Lynchburg's Sheriff's Office year after year for this initiative,” said Davis. “While Sodexo is a global company, we operate on a local level. We're made up of local people here at

Liberty University and we want to give back and help whenever possible.”

Liberty Dining also donates turkeys to its 500+ employees including student workers.

As a continuation of charitable giving, Liberty Dining conducted a food drive on campus, partnering with the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. LU Serve supports local, domestic, and international engagement opportunities.

All food donations collected were matched to help make a greater impact on the community.
