• Amherst County tightens rules for vape shops and medical cannabis dispensaries (wset.com) — Amherst County supervisors have immediately tightened zoning and operating rules for vape shops and medical cannabis dispensaries, including a one-mile buffer from schools, parks, churches, and similar sites. New businesses must get special zoning approval, follow 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. hours, and comply with bans on drive-throughs and stricter lighting and signage limits, all aimed at reducing youth exposure.
