Virginia State Police arrested a Herndon woman who led troopers on a multi-county pursuit, after she fled a traffic stop for reckless driving on I-81 in Frederick County, according to a police release.

Fourth Straight Day With Fewer Than 1,000 Coronavirus Cases: VDH

The Virginia Department of Health reported 776 additional coronavirus cases and eight new deaths on Wednesday. One of the new deaths was reported in a Northern Virginia locality. As of Wednesday, statewide cumulative numbers are up to 102,521 cases, 8,532 hospitalizations, and 2,352 deaths.

FBI Investigates Shooting Of Military Helicopter In NoVA

An Air Force helicopter was flying over Middleburg Monday when it was hit by a bullet from the ground, forcing the helicopter to make an emergency landing at the Manassas Regional Airport. Federal agents were called to the scene to investigate, the Associated Press reported Wednesday.
