• Cape Charles murder suspect also indicted on gang-related charges (shoredailynews.com) — Cape Charles readers should know that a local man already charged in a 2025 homicide case now faces additional gang-related indictments from a Northampton Grand Jury. Another Cape Charles resident is also charged in the same killing, and a separate Cape Charles man faces allegations of misusing state assets and defrauding an innkeeper, according to recently released court records. 
• Second Eastern Shore Rail to Trail opens in Cheriton, ahead of schedule (wavy.com) — Cape Charles residents now have another key link in the Eastern Shore Rail to Trail, with the new Cheriton segment connecting to the Cape Charles section that opened in August. Together, they create several miles of paved path and bike lanes that improve safety and recreation options, with more trail miles planned as funding and construction progress.
