• Report: At least 20 detained as ICE operation follows homicide at Catlett quinceañera (insidenova.com) — A quinceañera in Catlett on Aug. 8 turned deadly, leaving a 16-year-old from Triangle fatally shot and prompting a heavy law-enforcement response. Univision reports at least 20 people were later detained by ICE near the event site, while Fauquier County authorities say they called in federal partners to help manage the large crowd and focus on the homicide investigation.
