📰 News we're reading

• D.C. region rents would be higher today without pandemic, data shows (ffxnow.com) — Centreville renters are seeing median one- and two-bedroom rents of about $2,068 and $2,403, slightly down 1.9% from last year, according to new county data. The analysis shows Fairfax County rents remain above the regional median, but pandemic-era spikes have cooled, leaving today's prices a bit lower than they might have been without Covid's market disruption.

• Top 5 Things To Do This Weekend October 2 (tysonstoday.com) — Centreville kicks off the weekend with a fall festival Friday night at The Winery at Bull Run, featuring live music, fire pits, food trucks, and a glass of wine included with admission.
