Dulles South Station Police Report: Female Assaulted While Hiking in Ashburn
A summary of incidents reported for Nov. 17-23.

There was one assault, two larcenies, one suspicious event and one incident of vehicle tampering included in the Dulles South Station Daily Crime Reports for the week ending on Nov. 23.
Assault

- A female reported she was hiking in the area of Mount Hope Lane on Wednesday, Nov. 23 when she was passed by an adult White male around 9:20 a.m. As she continued to walk she reported the subject shoved her and yelled at her before walking away. The subject was described as a male in his early twenties, 5 feet 7 inches tall and was wearing sweatpants and work boots. He was further described as having blonde hair and a full beard.
Larcenies
- Between noon and 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20, unknown subject(s) damaged the side window of a work van on the 25000 block of Riding Plaza. Tools were reported missing. [Author’s Note: The Loudoun County Office of the Sheriff also listed this incident in the category of Destruction of Property.]
- Between 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18 and 7 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 21, unknown subject(s) removed faucets from homes under construction on the 25100 block of Himalayas Terrace. The faucets had recently been installed.
Suspicious Event

- Around 11:45 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, a 12-year-old female and a 13-year-old female were walking in the area of the 25400 block of Kinsale Place when they were approached by a white four-door sedan. A passenger in the vehicle, an unknown older Hispanic male, began talking with the juveniles and tried to get them to approach the car. The juveniles fled the area. The area was searched but no suspects were located.
Vehicle Tampering
- Between 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17, unknown subject(s) damaged the front and rear windows and tires to a vehicle on the 22400 block of Gum Spring Road.
