Dulles South Station Police Report: Two Suspicious Events Reported in Aldie

A summary of incidents reported for Oct. 13-19.

There was one destruction of property incident, six larcenies and two suspicious events included in the Dulles South Station Daily Crime Reports for the week ending on Oct. 19.  

Destruction of Property 

  • Between 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 17 and 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, unknown subject(s) spray painted the exterior of an unoccupied residence on the 42400 block of Leesylvania Court.  

Larceny

  • Between 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12 and 7 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13, unknown subject(s) damaged drywall to a building under construction on the 41000 block of Braddock Road and removed copper wiring.   • Between 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13 and 7 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 17, a case battery from a back hoe was taken from a construction site near Banff Springs Court and St. Huberts Place.
  • Electronics and other items were removed from outside of a residence on the 43600 block of Mink Meadows Street between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 17. 
  • Between 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 17 and 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, unknown subject(s) entered a vehicle on the 42200 block of San Juan Terrace and rummaged through the interior. Change was removed, but there were no signs of forced entry into the vehicle. 
  • Between 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 17 and 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, unknown subject(s) entered an unlocked vehicle on the 43500 block of Kiplington Square and removed a camera, a purse and wallet and its contents. 
  • Between 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18 and 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19, unknown subject(s) entered a vehicle on the 22700 block of Tucker Lane and removed a purse and its contents.  

Suspicious Events 

  • A resident of the 40400 block of Autumn Oak Lane discovered a hole in the roof of their home that was caused by a discharged round. This incident took place between noon on Wednesday, Oct. 12 and noon on Thursday, Oct. 13. 
  • Between 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12 and 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13, a door on the 40900 block of Braddock Road was damaged in an apparent attempt to gain entry.
