Fair Oaks District Police Report: 15-Year-Old Boy Robbed on Chain Bridge Road

A summary of incidents reported for May 3-9.

For the week ending on May 9, there were two major incidents, nine larcenies and one vehicle theft included in the Fair Oaks District Activity Report.

Major Incidents

  • ROBBERY: At 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, a 15-year-old boy was robbed of his cell phone and cash on the 2900 block of Chain Bridge Road. Several suspects pushed him down from behind, took his property and fled.  
  • BURGLARY: At 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, a homeowner left his home on the 12700 block of Somerset Lane at 2:40 p.m. and returned at 3:15 p.m. He discovered cash and a knife missing from the home. It is unknown how entry was gained.

  • 11300 block of Aristotle Drive: Airbag stolen from vehicle
  • 9800 block of Clifford Drive: Subwoofers and stereo equipment stolen from residence
  • 2300 block of Dulles Corner Boulevard: License plate stolen from vehicle
  • 3200 block of Lake Edge Way: Money, iPod and documents stolen from vehicle
  • 13900 block of Metrotech Drive: Flowers stolen from business
  • 12300 block of Oak Creek Lane: Four tires stolen from vehicle
  • 10000 block of Oakton Terrace Road: Wallet stolen from business
  • 12900 block of Point Pleasant Drive: Tools stolen from vehicle
  • 10300 block of Granite Creek Lane: License plate stolen from vehicle 

Vehicle Theft

  • 4400 block of Oak Creek Court: 1994 Acura Integra
